Thailand’s Seasons & Climate

The weather in Thailand is generally hot and humid (with average daily highs at over 30°C and relative air humidity of around 70%-80%) across much of the country throughout most of the year. Exceptions are in the mountains at moderate to high elevations, where both temperatures and humidity are slightly lower.

Thailand’s climate is mostly influenced by the Asian tropical monsoons, and with occasional interferences from tropical cyclones in South China Sea (on the East side) and the Indian Ocean (on the West side during the latter half of the year.
